Hail, Wind, and Mud, interspersed with some warm sunshine! 4 varied and interesting walks, three starting and finishing at the Lodge.

An intrepid group from Taff Ely Ramblers braved some variable weather to enjoy exploring a moist Elan Valley.

An intrepid group visited for the only dry weekend in January! A 9/11 mile walk on Saturday was followed by an easier 7 or 10 miles on Sunday.

The second visit of the year from Coalville ramblers. The club had a self guided walk on the Friday, which was damp, however the rest of the weekend was fine and mostly dry. Longer and shorter walkers were accommodated with even some almost flat walks!

Three and a half days of exceptional autumn weather made for a superb walking weekend. There was the occasional comment that it was too hot, in October in Wales?!

It was a wet weekend but the group remained pretty cheerful. The waterfalls were in fine fettle. This is Craig Goch Dam.
